Work Experience

After his B.Sc., Jitesh started his career, in 1996, with his uncle, who is an interior contractor. Working & Studying simultaneously at L.S.Raheja school of Architecture- Bandra, Jitesh earned his Government Diploma in Interior Design & Decoration (G.D.I.D.D) affiliated from the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (M.S.B.T.E), in 2001. Jitesh has an overall experience of approx. 24 years in interior works & about 19 years’ experience after receiving Diploma from M.S.B.T.E. After receiving his Diploma, Jitesh worked with Architect Nisheil Shetty for approx. 5 ½ years, wherein he was involved in designing & executing approx. 30 commercial projects & 10 residential projects. In 2007, he got an opportunity to work with the well know Project Management Consultants (PMC), Knight Frank (I) pvt Ltd. As a Project Manager, He executed Interior Fit out works of Shoppers Stop store at Bandra & Juhu, and Duetsche Bank at Aurangabad. However, the biggest landmark project executed, in his career is the 1 Lakh Sq.ft retail store HYPERCITY at Inorbit Mall, in 2008. From September 2008 till July-2017, Jitesh worked as a Project & Purchase Manager, in the construction team at Hard Castle Restaurants Pvt Ltd (McDonalds), where he executed interior works of approx. 30 Restaurants & was responsible for the Purchase management of all the materials & equipment’s required to build restaurants in west & south India. After leaving McDonalds, Jitesh has been doing free lancing designing & executing Interior works & passionately sharing his knowledge & experience with the students of ACDS, since Nov-2017, till date. From January-2020, Jitesh is also teaching at Thakur School of Planning & Architecture- Kandivali East, for the B.Voc ( Int.Design) Course.
