The workshop held on 2Nd September’15 conducted by Snigdha Katkar began with fun learning. Hence when the subject “CLAY “was taught in “materials” class the students were encouraged to handle clay. The topic given to them was a lampshade to be made either manually or on potter’s wheel. Clay & related materials were provided an the entre exercise lead to various creative ideas.
The next workshop was held on 5Thoctober’15 conducted by Ar. Anshul Sinha it was organized where in the students learned the rendering skill in different mediums, manually of course. Watching an expert handle the colors inspires a student thus encouraging them to create their own presentation technique.
Carpentry workshop was held on 10THoctober’15 by Amrish Mangle for all the students of ACDS. Live demo was given to them after which the students made a few joineries on their own with thermocal. All in all it was very informative & fun workshop. The third workshop, held on was conducted with relation to the construction class, where in the journey details were exacted in the presence of the designer and a carpenter. This enabled the students to understand as well implement their ideas as “Seeing Is Believing.”
